Abilities:

Psychometry - By touching an object or a person, he can obtain information that he might otherwise not know. Sometimes this information comes in the form of a memory, or a stray thought that translates to him through the touch. Mostly he sees a person's past, or an item's past...but occasionally he can glimpse their future, though when he does it's often cryptic and unreliable. 

Aura - Aubrey can see the aura of a person, and can therefore read a person's aura, and can tell by it's subtle shifts and changes in color if a person is lying, if a person is thinking of doing harm to another, or even what that person is (ie: vampire, human, or Dhampir).. 

Skills:

Educated - Through various courses taken via online, as well as through private tutors provided in past houses, Aubrey has found himself in the rare position of being a well-educated slave. 

Dancing - Ball room, and some casual style dancing as well, though it is in the ball room styles that Aubrey truly excels. 

Singing - Classically trained. Has a lovely tenor voice and is capable of singing anything from rock to opera. He does prefer to not sing before a crowd but does as his mistress bids. 

Story-telling - He's got a way of telling tales that makes them entertaining. 

Musically Gifted - Aubrey plays the following instruments: Piano, Violin, Cello, and the Guitar. 

Bi-Lingual ~ Aubrey speaks both English and French perfectly. This is due to his being born in Montreal, Canada. French is actually his first language, but he learned to speak English once he was taken to his first Master's house and now speaks English with only the faintest trace of a French accent if any. 

Weaknesses:

Off-kilter in human society - he finds it hard to truly relate to other humans as most of his formative years were spent among vampires. Oh he can still feel compassion for them, and still feels a link with them - but as his time spent with the vampires has set him in a place above most of the humans within a clan, he finds it difficult to socialize. 

Race - the fact that he is human is a weakness in itself. He can never hope to be as strong, fast, or as long-lived as a vampire or Dhampir and therefore is infinitely fragile - despite the fact that he does possess a fit form. 

Fear of Sexual Encounters ~ Due to some rather unpleasant parts of Aubrey's past, he generally treats encounters that could turn sexual with extreme caution - especially if these sorts of attentions seem forceful or overbearing. To the point where he tries to avoid them altogether. Anyone hoping to bypass this needs to tread with caution as patience really is a virtue here. 

Personality:
Soft-hearted, Kind, Potentially Spoiled, Compassionate, Patient, Friendly ,Warm , Intelligent, Non-Violent , Proud, Occasionally Haughty, A bit suspicious of outsiders and their intent towards Sarin, Perceptive, Observant, Jealous (upon occasion).

Brief History:

Aubrey was born to what he always thought was a kind and loving set of parents - only to find that impression sadly mistaken when, at the age of five, he was sent to the local Kaiser and Kaiserin as a means of paying a debt his parents owed them. While the experience was terrifying at first, young Aubrey soon came to adore the vampires that took him in, the human child treated better than any other pet that belonged to the pair. In fact, they treated him as they would their very own child for a time. Eventually though, it would seem that the Kaiser and his mate got bored with little Aubrey, and he was sent on to another house. And then another, and another until it felt like Aubrey was little more than a piece of luggage to be shipped from place to place. 

Not all of his time among vampires was pleasant, and at the age of 18, Aubrey was apparently deemed boring enough to eventually be sold as cattle and sent to another District's black market to be put up on the block. In that district, Aubrey had the fortune (or misfortune depending upon how one looked at it ) to be purchased as one of a lot by the child-like Clan Mistress Sarin - and was initially brought back to her home to participate as part of one of her well-known (among vampires at least ) blood-sporting events. 

Aubrey was horrified by this use of human beings, even more so than he would have been to have merely been food. When brought out to be part of such games, he did something that none had really seemed to desire to do - he refused, declaring her 'blood-sport' barbaric and cruel and claiming he'd rather just be drained dry than be forced to kill other people for sport. And when his loud protests were not heeded, he demonstrated such a thing physically, by standing to the side while the others fought for a scrap of food. It was heart-wrenching for him to watch, but he managed to keep his eyes on the game for a moment before finally seeking out the Clan Mistress herself, staring at her the entire time the game went on and letting her know quite clearly that he was not about to become her entertainment. 

Now, he's not entirely sure why he was spared, but he was - Sarin finding something amusing about his rather 'soft-hearted' stance. Rather than kill him, she chose to keep him for herself and he's since become her favored Pet. Rather surprisingly, Aubrey has found himself enjoying his life in this clan, and would hate to see it taken away from him - and though he holds no hope of lasting more than a few years (as history would dictate that eventually he would prove to be boring ) , he finds himself rather fond of Clan Mistress Sarin and guarding his position as her 'favorite' jealously.
