_{Fingers folded, as she waited inside her tent for the curious customers that she always happened to bring by. Why? Well, let’s just say, that Isabel isn’t the average young adult. She is blind, and is secretly known to have gifted powers. However, this is only known throughout her small carnival community. They respect her as one would their elder, and helped give her a good source of income here at the Dark Carnival.
The small ring of a bell and the fabric pushing together as a male walked in, and sat in front of Isabel’s table. The way he breathed, and rubbed his hands, made him appear nervous to the blind girl. “I thought you would be some kind of old witch doctor” he laughed while the sound of rubbing his hands on his pants was heard. A smile, and the lifting of her hands to take off her gloves was seen by the male in front of her. “What would you like to know?” she questioned, and of course it was the usual response of, “Where am I in ten years”. Once she lifted her hands to the table and displayed them palm up, she waited for him to place his hands in hers. When he did, she saw the world through his eyes, and for some reason was always astounded by it. However, she didn’t keep it long, as she took away her hands and replaced the gloves. “You seem to work hard for your studies, and have the intention to go into sciences. However, you are unsure…” she stated about him and his past, lowering her hands to her lap in the process and lifting her eyes to where his voice was last heard, “With your capabilities and extensive knowledge and appreciation for math and science, I deem you will be very successful in 10 years. However, your relationships with girls needs to be refined, I suggest starting with someone close to you” she said, and heard him intake a breath as he whispered so low, that only the blind would be able to hear, the name of the girl she saw in his past, and smiled. For, Isabel could only see the past clearly and well defined, as well as fogged intentions, however, it was hard and often times widely blank when it came to the future and being able to see it. She didn’t understand why she couldn’t see it, but she didn’t let that stop her, and tried continuously to see the future by the use of free volunteers.}

General Appearance: Pale skin, with an almost a child-like featured face. Isabel has only one piercing in her ear, and has one tattoo that she got from a friend back before she was in the car crash, of an eye with a dove in the center of it. Located on her left hip bone.

• Guarded – When it comes to her gifts in general, Isabel is always cautious. Touch-wise, and personality wise, she doesn’t like to reveal too much about herself, and will do anything to hide who she is.
• Observant - Being blind has it’s advantages, and in Isabel’s case, being observant is what she does best. Always knowing where someone will be next, or what type of a vibe they let off, let’s her know how to handle situations. Even when they can become hostile.
• Self-Conscious – Never being able to actually be a female, and never given the high school life she desired, Isabel is continuously self-conscious and is jealous of the girls that can see the world, and get whatever they want. They can see guys, and date them, however, for Isabel… it’s a whole other story.
• Serious – Though she does have some ounce of humor in her, Isabel is quite the serious young woman. She lives off a world where everything in her life is bitter, and so it makes it hard for her to find the beauty in things.
• Understandable – Everything she hears, when it comes to concerns questions, etc. she is able to understand process and live in their shoes, think how they think and feel how they feel. Being blind gives her this advantage, for her life isn’t much, so she makes of it what she can through those that enter her tent. She also makes for a very reasonable, responsible, and independent woman.
• Bold – Isabel doesn’t really care what anyone thinks and is often a bit bold and strong-minded when it comes to her own opinions and standing up for herself. Even the slightest argument will have her thinking logically, and coming out strong from the start.
• Lonely – Being blind and on your own for a while, Isabel really has nobody. The people at the carnival, sure they are people she resides with, but nothing of the sort that would stick up for her. At least that’s how she sees it… “Me, Myself, and I”.

Skills/Hobbies:

- Reading Braille: not only does she like to read, but she likes to read classics. Almost as if she finds her morals and ways of living within classics such as Shakespearean novels, or even piano books where they have complete compositions in braille. Though, it is rather difficult to even find Braille books, so the ones she has, are the ones she kept and reread a thousand or so times.
- Antique collecting: it doesn’t matter what it is, but something about collecting old artifacts really interests Isabel. Even if she can’t see them, she can touch them, and create a picture in her own mind.
- Music: It’s not that she can play, because she can’t. No, Isabel likes to listen to all genres of music, to hear and identify names to instruments, and just feel the harmony within her fingertips whilst listening to music really calms her. Its partially why she likes to go into clubs. Not to drink or dance, but to sit in the corner table and listen to the music, tapping away with her fingers.
- Observing: Again, she cannot see, but she can hear, and finds it interesting to hear the different conversations that happen in daily life, trying to picture them is what she does best in her mind.

Isabel obtains historical memories or sensations concerning beings objects that she can observe by the use of her sense of touch mainly in just her palm and fingers. With objects she gains the knowledge including the makers, users, and even those who have on passing used the object, and what has been done with it. With living beings or parts of the body Isabel learns their general life-history, but doesn't gain anything of what they were thinking or feeling, or even the future of that person. It’s similar to a black hole, to which she doesn’t know how to open.

• Standard Human Weakness
• Blind: Of course, being blind has it’s major disadvantage of not being able to see anything or anyone. She in this sense has to use a cane everywhere she goes, and it impairs her even in strength as well.
• Psychometry Control: Having this ability, gives her no control of her power, and in essence, is able to see anything about anyone with just her palm and fingers. It’s the very reason why she puts leather gloves on her hands to avoid such intimacy shown to her.

Personal History:

_{Normal girl normal life, Isabel grew up in northern Minnesota, and was not visually impaired either. She could see the grass, and people around her. Nothing bad ever happened, and even had normal parents along with one younger brother. She was learning how to be a professional ballroom dancer and even liked to go horseback riding in her free time. Everything was normal with Isabel, till she realized that by touching people, she was able to see their pasts, and futures, and overall thought this was a normal thing. So growing up, till about the age of fourteen, she thought seeing pasts was normal. Not until, she told her parents, when that happened, they didn’t know what to do, and were distant for a long time. When she was sixteen and they had finally accepted the fact that this was their daughter, they took her out to a birthday dinner, and on that night, they got into a car crash. Killing both parents and younger ten year old brother. She was severely hurt and was in a comma for about a year, till she woke up and found that in the crash, she had been hurt to the extent of being blind. It took a while for her to get used to such disabilities, but once she was able to be on her own and live without her parents and with her grandmother in Florida, she started to realize that this was a blessing that she was alive and decided that work was the best way to earn a living. After all, her grandmother wasn’t going to live for that much longer as it was anyways.
Once she got a job at the Dark Carnival, she sort of stayed there, and became one of the circus folk. Learning more and more about herself was harder than thought, so at first she started as an assistant, and then once she figured out how to use her ability, she started to use it in the form of a fortune teller. It wasn’t long till she realized that being blind gave her the ability to use the sense of touch even more, therefore clarifying the images and videos of people’s memories more and more, to the point where at this moment, it’s uncontrolled.}
