About the Amphitheatre

Found in a central location of the park itself, the Winslowe Park Amphitheatre is a large, well-lit outdoor stage that provides plenty of comfortable seating for those in attendance of whatever is going on that night. Local theatre groups put on plays for the public, local musicians put on free or next to free concerts...there's always some kind of entertainment going on. One just has to check the sign at the front of the park to see what's playing and how to purchase tickets - if such a thing is necessary. Typically, ticket prices will go no higher than ten dollars though - so it's very much a public friendly thing. Also, when there is a show, there are typically also vendors that will spring up - selling food, candy and other things from their carts.
