About The Pit

Outside, in a courtyard contained within the structure of 'The Pit' as the gladiators refer to the whole of 'their domain' (not including the arena of course). Many clan members erroneously believe 'The Pit' to refer only to this sand bottomed patch of the outside in which the gladiators are trained. Blunted or wooden replicas of the more deadly weapons available to the glaidtors are used in sparring matches. Off to the side dummies are set up where an individual can train with real weapons, but don't get any ideas, most of the gladiators will turn on any that try something funny, and the Pit Master's whip is a potentially deadly thing always ready to take down a rogue gladiator.

About the Lycan Holding Cells

Kept underground away from fresh air and sight of the sun or moon, this dungeon contains cages of lycans used in Sarin's blood sports. Some are used for bating, some simply kept to be released into the arena as is, and some are starved to the point of madness. In cases where there are multiple starved lycans are kept together a collar and heavy chain is used to secure them and keep them from tearing one another apart. Wheeled Cages with simple pin hinged sides are used to transport feral lycans out of the dungeon and to the arena.

About the Holding Cells

Here all non-lycan are kept with similar races housed together in their respective sets of cages. Easier to manage than the lycans in the other dungeon, most of those found here are human, though a few more timid or week dhampires also can be found here as well. Some say a vampire might even grace these cages from time to time, though this would likely be very rare and only consist of especially young, useless vampires either abandoned by their makers, or sold to this as punishment for breaking laws on clan grounds that are inexcusable. In some instances shackling may be used to control those found here, but the need is not typical.
